Why Vitamin C Deserves a Spot in Your Beauty Routine
We know it's important to get vitamin C in out diets for healthy bodies, but vitamin C also does great things for your skin when applied on the surface! This antioxidant can improve the health and appearance of your skin by boosting collagen production, brightening dark spots, reducing fine lines, and protecting against sun damage. That's why vitamin C is popping up as an ingredient in lots of facial serums and lotions.
However, vitamin C is pretty unstable, so it's hard to actually get it into a product and onto your skin. Not all vitamin C facial products are created equal. That's why I'm loving Pai's vitamin C moisturizer.

Pai Vitamin C-2 Believe Vitamin C Brightening Moisturizer: My Honest Review
Ingredients: 9/10
COSMOS Organic certified, Vegan, Cruelty-free, All natural. Active ingredients include Vitamin C in a stable, oil-soluble form; hyaluronic acid for powerful hydration; and soothing and strengthening bilberry extract, all sustainably sourced.
Experience: 9/10
This moisturizer says it's a cream, but it felt much lighter - in a good way. I typically hate the weight of most creams but this feels more like a deep moisturizing lotion. There is no sticky feel at all. It has a nice, fresh scent with bright citrus notes that's not over-powering. It absorbs fairly quickly, so I can move on with my routine after applying it.
Performance: 8/10
After using the full mini-sized bottle, I feel like my skin is well nourished, hydrated, and noticeably brighter, though not as dramatic as having a facial or using a peel. I have no redness or irritation, and it doesn't make me breakout, which is always a gamble with new moisturizers. Success!
Value: 7/10
Though it may seem a little spendy, it doesn't cost as much as the oil moisturizer I'd been using. And I didn't need to use a lot for each application, so one bottle should last a good while.
Overall: 8.25

Overall Impressions
I've been hooked on oil moisturizers for a while, so I was nervous about using a cream. Pai's vitamin C moisturizer out my fears to rest and exceeded my expectations. I love the scent and how easily it smooths onto my face. I especially love that it doesn't seem to clog my pores and helps to lighten up darker spots on my face. Overall, I would purchase it again.
